Conforming to Society

I have decided to start a blog.  Not because I want to but because I feel a personal responsibility to do so.  I am about to embark on some big adventures and as a daughter, friend, sister, and grandchild it is my "big girl" responsibility to keep all those whom I love dearly informed that I am safe and alive.

As I began contemplating the idea of writing down all of my thoughts, actions, and updates on a public journal of sorts I started to see the added benefits of doing so.

First: I will not have to call and update ANYBODY in fact I can more than likely just record a voicemail that states: "Thank you for calling Alyssa if you are trying to reach me out of concern or for new and exciting events taking place check my blog at adventures-of-alyssa.blogspot.com"---jkjk you know I always want to talk to all of you.

Second: I will no longer feel the pangs of guilt in my stomach as yet another individual informs me that I "really should be keeping a journal"

Third: I can spy on the countless blogs of my nearest and dearest and see pictures of all exciting events** (added bonus)

Finally: I can VENT and because you all love me so much I will hopefully get consoling comments (good for my Psyche)

So in conclusion I am ecstatic to share my experiences with you all and I love each one of you VERY much

LOVES**XoXOxOxoXOX
